OceanPinesForum.com and The Courier join forces

OceanPinesForum.com and The Courier have agreed to work together to provide residents of Ocean Pines and Worcester County with unique and comprehensive news coverage, integrating traditional print news with online video and interactivity.

The relationship agreed to by OceanPinesForum.com owner Joe Reynolds and Courier owner Chip Bertino includes editorial and advertising components that will provide new and cost effective marketing opportunities in print and on the Internet, including video advertising.

Under the arrangement, The Courier becomes the exclusive representative for advertising sales on OceanPinesForum.com and its affiliated web sites including WorcesterCounty.net and OceanCityForum.com.   

Additionally, The Courier will provide editorial content to OceanPinesForum.com and its affiliates on a weekly basis.

OceanPinesForum.com was founded in the spring of 2004.  In addition to an active message board, it also has an extensive library of videos of county and community meetings including Ocean Pines Association meetings.  The site also offers an extensive online image gallery, and the popular Focus on The Pines program, hosted by Jack Barnes.

The Courier was founded in 2000 and is independently owned.  The weekly paper circulates in Worcester, Wicomico and Sussex counties with home delivery in Ocean Pines, West Ocean City and Berlin.
