This photo would indicate man’s incessant need to increase the size of his shelter/home. While we don’t know the size of the family unit this was originally intended, why has the size of a family home (at least here in the United States) continuously increased? Or is it just an indication of wealth/prosperity? Toll brothers the leading builder of luxury homes seems to be doing just fine. Of course there is now somewhat of a tiny home fad…will be interesting to see if that industry survives long term.
