Description: Just prior to the last mucical piece of the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra the conductor Julien Benichou became ill and could not continue. The Concertmaster Nicholas Currie stepped up and led the Orchestra. The audience gave him and the orchestra a standing ovation for their efforts. Later Nicholas Currie stated that this was his first experience leading the orchestra like this and it probaly never would happen again.
