Description: At the final meeting of the year the Ocean Pines Anglers Club presented awards to the 2016 Fishing Tournament winners. Tournament Chairman Tim Mullin recognized 9 anglers for the largest fish caught during the year in 12 species of fish. Top Anglers shown L/R are; John McFalls 41 ½” Striped Bass [tie], 11” Croaker and 15” Fresh Water Trout, Tom Nelson 29 ½” Black Drum, Frank Watkins 41 ½” Striped Bass [tie] and 18 ½” Black Sea Bass, Pat Connelly 20 ½” Tautog, Rich Patschorke 48” Tuna, Jake Eichler 17 ½” Large Mouth Bass. Not shown; Budd Heim 25 ½” Flounder and 17 ½” Red Drum, Finn McCabe 23 ¼” Weakfish, Kevin Welkner 36” Bluefish. Congratulations to all the anglers who competed during the year and are now looking forward to competing in the 2017 tournament.
