Description: Twenty anglers recently vied for cash prizes in the annual Flounder Frenzy sponsored by the Ocean Pines Anglers Club. The rain held off most of the day as over 40 fish were caught in the Coastal Bays around Ocean City, mostly flounder but also some nice bluefish, shad and a few skates. Angler Chuck Choate took first place with an impressive 24" door mat followed by Bob Gilbert in second place with an 18 1/2" flounder and Larry Eberling took third place with an 18 1/4" flounder. Following the tourney the anglers met at Whiskers restaurant for some well deserved rest, libations and of course a few fish stories of the one that got away.
