Description: Sent on a trip to the ocean by 9 year old Lauryn Hentz of Philadelphia, Grand niece of Ocean Pines residents Jack & Andrea Barnes, Flat Stanley is seen enjoying a visit to the inlet. Flat Stanley was caught behind a bulletin board in school and flattened. The trip is a reward of sorts to Flat Stanley who was to learn about a new area of the country which would be reported on by his friend Lauryn in school.
