Description: Storm clouds loomed at the start of the Ocean Pines Anglers Club-Art Hansen Memorial Kids' Fishing Tournament in Ocean Pines, but the weather gods shown down favorably Saturday morning as 107 young anglers vied for the top spots in 3 age categories. By the end of the 2 hour tournament 169 fish were pulled from the South Pond. The first place in each age group received trophies with 2nd and 3rd places receiving a rod and reel and awards also given for most fish caught. Thanks to the many sponsors every youth returned home with a prize and hopefully some fond fishing memories. Shown in the photo are the 1st place winners in each age group for largest and most fish.: L to R ; 4-7yrs Logan Rarrick, most fish [7], 8-11yrs Colleen Shanahan, 18" Bass. Tyler Wright, most fish [8], 12-16yrs, Christian Bruder 16 1/4" Bass, Brendan White most fish [13]. Ayden Lowman won first prize for 4-7 age group with a 11 1/4" Bass but was unavailable for photo.
