Description: Image from OPA: The entrance into the Ocean Pines Yacht Club and Marina at the intersection of Mumford’s Landing Road and Yacht Club Drive has a new sign and fresh landscaping thanks to the help of David McAlister of Newport Homes and developer of Mumford Woods town house complex. “It was a pleasure to work with the Association,” said Dave McAlister. “My compliments to the landscaping crew for their impressive work,” he added. Mr. McAlister and Newport Homes contributed the funds needed for the project including the costs for the new sign as well as the additional landscaping on both sides. The total contribution tallied $1896. “The new sign and landscaping were designed to present a more balanced and pleasing entrance to the Yacht Club and to beautify the intersection,’ said OPA General Manager Dave Ferguson. “Our partnership with Newport Homes made the whole project possible; we are very grateful for their participation,” he added.
