What I Like Best About Ocean Pines

What I Like Best About Ocean Pines are all the wonderful memories my husband and I have shared here with our family and friends.  Our children and grandchildren come down from Baltimore to visit with us in the Pines very often.  There are so many things to do here, it’s hard for them to decide what they want to do first.  Sometimes just crabbing from the pier is a great start to the day – inexpensive fun right in our “backyard.”  Without leaving Ocean Pines, we can enjoy the many outdoor activities in a friendly, safe environment and at reasonable cost.  We enjoy biking, feeding the ducks, fishing at the pond, swimming in the pools, and playing tennis.  Of course, my husband and I love to treat the grandchildren to nearby water slides and amusements in Ocean City sometimes, but all that costs money.   We are glad that Ocean Pines offers many alternatives to expensive entertainment, which includes the OP Beach Club in OC with sun, surf, and pool.

When I was a child growing up in Baltimore, I dreaded the day that my parents piled the family into the car to drive across town to visit with Grandma and Pop.  We usually sat around all day with nothing to do and couldn’t wait to go back home.

Now that I am a grandparent, I am so happy that our family looks forward to visiting us.  In fact, the grandchildren plan their summer camps around their trips to Ocean Pines so they can all be here together.  With the good highways on the Eastern Shore, they can be in Ocean Pines in less than three hours.

In so many ways, Ocean Pines is making our Senior Years very Happy Years filled with many wonderful memories.
