GOLF NEWS
Volunteers Needed
From Harlyn Goldman, Golf Course Superintendent:
We are looking for a few good women and men to join us Wednesday June 13, 2007 9am-12 noon. Volunteers are needed to help fill divots, repair ball marks, mark hazards, install yardage markers, and other general course clean-up.
We will meet at the Pro Shop at 9:00. Feel free to bring comfortable clothes, gloves, and any other items(s) you may need.
As in the past, a complimentary lunch will be sponsored by Golf Maintenance, and drinks will be sponsored by Ocean Pines Men’s Golf Association. You may sign-up in the Pro Shop prior to Wednesday. In the event of inclement weather, we will try again on Thursday, June 14th.
**IMPORTANT** The main parking lot will be closed all day as paving will be underway. Please plan to park in the small lot behind #10 tee or in the grass at the front circle.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the 13th. If you have further questions, please call the Pro Shop at 410-641-6057.
Junior Golf Advanced
Every Tuesday starting June 19 – July 24 from 5:30 pm -7pm
Topics: Full Swing (Iron & Woods), pitching, chipping, putting, sand play, golf course management, practice drills, rules & etiquette.
* Limited to 1st 20 applicants which means more individual attention *
Cost: $70 per junior (reserved spot in All Tuesday Clinics); $65 per junior (if registered before June 19th)

School’s Out Pool Splash
Swim & Racquet Club pool from 7:30-9:30pm on Friday, June 15th. All kids ages 8-16 are invited to this pool party. A DJ will provide poolside tunes and snacks will be provided. Cost $5 for OP residents; $6 non-residents. **This is a special event. Swim coupons or memberships do not grant admission**
