The Worcester County Agricultural Land Preservation Advisory Board will host a special joint meeting with the Worcester County Planning Commission on March 3, 2005 at 7:25 PM for a presentation from Planning Commission members of the draft Comprehensive Plan.

The group will review and discuss how the issues of farmland and agriculture are addressed in the draft document. Afterward, the Planning Commission will continue to gather feedback from the county’s farming community. The meeting will take place in the 3^rd floor training room in the Worcester County Government Center in Snow Hill. Following this initial meeting, the Planning Commission will conduct a series of additional public meetings to further update the draft Comprehensive Plan.

The County Commissioners will have the opportunity to begin reviewing the initial draft Comprehensive Plan on March 1; however, they will not discuss the draft plan as a body until the Planning Commission has completed its series of public meetings. After March 1, the initial draft Comprehensive Plan can be viewed online at www.co.worcester.md.us and at each of the county’s public libraries.
