Background:
OPA Board Board of Directors members Heather Cook and Glenn Duffy question Design Atlantic about new Community Center building costs and type of construction. This video segment is interesting when compared to current estimated cost of over $6 million, and an attempted spin to say the building was always a cheap metal building. In the video the Design Atlantic representative says the building would be "mostly masonry bearing walls."
DA representative also expresses pride on the accuracy of their estimates, and says his estimate is the "final cost" with no additional costs when questioned by Heather Cook.
