The results of the OPA Board Elections to fill three positions:

        * Dave Stevens - 2316
        * Tom Terry - 2208
        * Ray Unger - 2162
        * Richard Handelman - 1986
        * Gene Lyman - 1299
        * Write-Ins - 111

Congratulations to all candidates; Dave Stevens, Tom Terry and Ray Unger become
Board Directors for a term of three years.

The total vote count for the 2010 elections was 10,082 (2009-7,725).  The Scantron system processed 3,581 (2009-4,054) ballots. 

We processed an additional 151 (2009-20) ballots manually, of which 226 (2009-58) votes were included in the above numbers. 

During the review of the manual ballots, we voided 31 ballots for the following reasons: 

-      13:  ballot was written on

-      5:  voted for more than 3 candidates

-      8:  improper envelope

-      5:  boxes were not marked

The 2010 voting return was 43.9% compared to 48.5% in 2009, 40.3% in 2008, 58.2% in 2007 elections.
